I made this pewter belt buckle by first 3D scanning a face I had molded by hand. I modified the scan in Blender and 3D printed the design in wax. I then used a lost-wax casting process, pouring melted pewter into the mold. Finally, I polished the piece and attached it to a leather strap.
Some raindrops I 3d printed with wax some other ones I made into pewter, the one above this text had some pewter that fell on the side, when it hardened I enjoyed the look of it.
After 3D scanning my fist I added a custom face to it with blender, 3D printed it and made a metal version of it as well.
